Updating your resident status

⛔ Please keep in mind that bank cards or driver licenses are not accepted here as we need to confirm your citizenship.

We must have an update about the status of your residence permit from UDI in order for us to be able to extend your contract. If it already has expired, you cannot go online as your contract has been automatically put on hold. 

Please send us a confirmation in the chat that you have applied for a new residence permit or that you have received the new residence permit at least 10 days before the expiry date. We have a lot of inquiries about this and the normal processing time is 7 business days. You will not have to stay offline if you send a confirmation of your application or the new residence permit before your old one expires.

Updating your residence or work permit
We need a valid residence permit uploaded in our systems at all times. Your ID or D number should be fully visible and we need a clear picture of both the front and the back side for you to be able to deliver.

It can either be:

  • A picture of the front and the back of a valid residence permit if you already have a valid permit.

  • An email from UDI confirming that your application is being renewed if your permit has expired.


Notify a change of citizenship
If you have obtained a Norwegian citizenship, congratulations! 🎉 You need to notify us of the change by uploading either:

  • A valid Norwegian passport or;

  • A valid Norwegian ID card.
